Orders

How do I place an order?

Choose your product, select your size, add it to cart and proceed to checkout. Once payment is complete, you will receive an order confirmation.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has not been packed or shipped, our team will assist you. Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placing the order. Once the order has been processed, packed, shipped or marked as a pre-order/custom order, cancellations may not be possible.

I did not receive an order confirmation. What should I do?

Please check your spam, promotions or junk folder. If you still cannot find it, contact us with your name, phone number and payment details.

Do you take bulk orders?

Yes, we will be help you with bulk or special orders.

Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we currently offer free shipping on orders worth 5,000 INR and above within India.

How long will delivery take?

For Domestic orders, we usually ship via DTDC. Orders are usually shipped within 5-7 working days and delivered within 10-12 working days, depending on your location. For pre-orders this timeline can go upto 3 weeks. 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, international orders can be arranged. Please email us at info@somethingsustainable.in before placing your order.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive tracking details by email, SMS or WhatsApp. 


Exchange & Credit Note Policy

Do you offer refunds?

As a policy, we do not offer refunds once a product is sold or shipped.

Refunds are not offered except for approved cancellations, order cancellations by SOS, or damaged/incorrect product cases at SOS discretion.

Do you offer credit notes?
Yes. We are happy to offer a credit note valid for 6 months within 7 days of delivery of the product, provided the product meets our eligibility conditions.

The product must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, unaltered and returned with original tags and packaging intact.

Do you offer size exchanges?

Yes. Exchanges are accepted only for size-related issues that are reported within 7 days of receiving the order.

Size exchanges are subject to availability and product condition.

Are sale items exchangeable?

Sale items are not eligible for returns or refunds.

Are there any costs involved in returns or exchanges?

If the product is wrongfully delivered or has a genuine manufacturing defect, we take full responsibility for all charges to ensure a hassle free refund or exchange. 

Products & Sizing

Are your products true to size?

We recommend checking the size guide on product page before placing your order. If you are between sizes or unsure, please contact us on WhatsApp or mail before ordering.

Are naturally dyed clothes colourfast?

We do our best to ensure quality, but natural dyes may soften, fade or evolve over time. This is normal. Please follow the care instructions carefully. 

How should I wash my Something Sustainable garments?

After careful research, we know that gently hand washing or using a gentle wash cycle with mild soap is the best way to maintain naturally dyed garments. Dry in shade. Avoid bleach, harsh detergents, soaking for long periods and direct sunlight. We also recommend washing naturally dyed garments separately for the first few washes. Afterward, the colours settle and begin to develop their own soft and graceful character over time.


Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

For your convenience, we accept various payment methods, including credit and debit cards, Google Pay, UPI, and net banking. Additionally, we offer cash on delivery for orders within Mumbai, India.

Is online payment safe?

Yes, your payment is completely secure. We use industry-standard encryption and secure payment gateways.

Are all your products 100% sustainable?

No brand can honestly claim to be perfect,  sustainability is an ongoing process of learning and improving.

At SOS, we try to make thoughtful choices at every step and remain transparent about our materials and processes. We primarily work with natural fibres, handwoven fabrics, natural dyeing techniques, and certified inks that are gentler on the skin and less polluting than many conventional alternatives.

By choosing SOS, you also support artisans, craft communities, and practices rooted in environmental awareness and mindful production.

Our Process

We work with materials and processes that feel closer to nature. Most of our pieces are naturally dyed, block printed, handwoven and made in smaller batches.

This means no two garments are always exactly the same. Colours may vary slightly. Prints may shift gently. Textures may soften over time. We see these details not as flaws, but as signs of a slower and more intentional process.
